Improvement of Temporal Quality of HMD for Rotational Motion

A concept to improve the temporal quality of visual display by providing consistent optical flow of the displayed image is proposed. Based on this concept, a method to locally compensate the time delay of the image displayed through HMDs for the operatorfs rotational head motion is shown, by using signals obtained by additional sensors.
