What we do here?

In this laboratory, we study interfaces between human and cyber spaces, based on Virtual Reality (VR) technologies.

2022/04/01: Faculty of Information Engineering, Meijo University is established. Faculty members, including Yanagida, moved from Dept. of Information Engineering, Faculty of Science & Technology to Faculty of Information Engineering.
2020/12/11: Yanagida had an invited talk at IDW '20.
2020/03/16: Our lab moved to a new building: Laboratory Building III.
2019/07/09-12: Itoh, Takagi, and Niimi (M1) had demos at World Haptics Conference 2019 (Tokyo, Japan).
2019/03/11-12: Kawai (M2) had an oral presentation at Augmented Human 2019 (Reims, France).
2018/12/05-07: Mori, Watanabe, Iwata (M1), and Kawai (M2) had a demo at ACM SIGGRAPH ASIA 2018 VR/AR (Tokyo).

2018/11/28- 12/1: Kawai (M2) and Hayashizaki (B4) had poster presentations at ACM VRST 2018 (Waseda University).
2018/04/6-8: Mori, Watanabe, and Iwata (M1) demonstrated VR Mochitsuki system at Laval Virtual 2018 (Laval, France).
2018/03/18-22: Kawai (M1) had a poster presentation at IEEE Virtual Reality 2018 (Reutlingen, Germany). Yanagida served as a Program Committee member (Journal track + Conference track), as well as a menter of Doctoral Consortium.
